Bill Geary has been with North Bridge Venture Partners since inception. Prior to joining North Bridge, he was a partner at Hambro International Equity Partners. From 1987 through 1990 Bill was the CFO of MathSoft, an applications software start-up that subsequently went public on the NASDAQ and was acquired by Parametric Technology Corporation in 2006. Prior to that, he was at Congoleum Corporation where he helped raise the capital and structure the successful $500 million private buyout of the company. From 1980 to 1984, Bill was a CPA with Arthur Andersen & Co.
Bill has played an invaluable role in helping nearly all North Bridge investments establish themselves as businesses. His responsibilities include making investments and board representation, principally targeted at the software and healthcare industries. Bill Geary is a graduate of Boston College (Carroll School of Management, Honors Program, magna cum laude), 1980, and is Chair of the Board of Trustees of Boston College, serving as Chair of its Executive Committee and Nominations & Governance Committee, and a member of its Investment Committee.
